Effective date: July 7, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Vault ("we," "our," or "us") collects, uses, stores, and protects your information when you use the Vault mobile application (the "App"). By using Vault, you agree to the practices described in this policy.
1. Information we collect
Account information
When you create a Vault account, we collect your email address and any profile details you choose to provide (such as your name).
Financial data you enter
To provide Vault's budgeting and tracking features, we store the financial information you input, including:
- Transactions and spending history
- Budgets and savings goals
- Recurring payments and reminders
- Net worth and debt records
- Currency and regional preferences
Vault does not connect to your bank accounts or read real financial account data automatically. All figures are manually entered by you.
Subscription & purchase information
If you subscribe to Vault's ad-free plan, purchase transactions are processed through Google Play Billing. We receive confirmation of your subscription status (active, expired, cancelled) but never your full payment card details.
Automatically collected information
Like most apps, we may automatically collect limited technical data such as device type, operating system version, app version, crash logs, and general usage statistics to help us maintain and improve the App.
2. How we use your information
- To provide, operate, and maintain the App's core features (budgeting, tracking, goals, reminders)
- To sync your data securely across your devices
- To process and manage your subscription and ad-free status
- To detect, prevent, and address technical issues, bugs, or fraud
- To communicate with you about your account or respond to support requests
- To improve and develop new features within the App
We do not sell your personal or financial data to third parties.
3. Third-party services
Vault relies on the following third-party services to operate:
| Service | Purpose |
|---|---|
| Supabase | Cloud database and authentication provider used to securely store your account and financial data, and enable sync across devices. |
| Google Play Billing | Processes subscription payments for the ad-free plan. Payment card details are handled entirely by Google and are never seen or stored by Vault. |
| Advertising partners (e.g., Google AdMob) | Displays ads to free-tier users. Ad partners may collect device identifiers and usage data to serve relevant ads, subject to their own privacy policies. |
These providers may process your data on our behalf under their own security and privacy standards. We only work with providers who are committed to protecting your data.
4. Data storage & security
Your data is stored securely in Supabase's cloud infrastructure, which uses industry-standard encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS) and at rest. Access to your account is protected by authentication, and we apply reasonable technical and organizational measures to prevent unauthorized access, loss, or misuse of your data.
While we take data security seriously, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
5. Data retention
We retain your data for as long as your account remains active. If you delete your account, your data is permanently removed from our active systems, except where limited records must be retained temporarily to comply with legal, tax, or fraud-prevention obligations, or to resolve disputes related to subscription payments.
6. Your rights & account deletion
You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data at any time. You can permanently delete your account and all associated data directly within the App via More โ Delete Account, or by emailing us at yasirrafique007@gmail.com.
Depending on your location, you may also have additional rights under applicable data protection laws (such as the UK GDPR or EU GDPR), including the right to data portability and the right to object to certain processing.
7. Children's privacy
Vault is not directed at children under the age of 13 (or the minimum age required in your country), and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can delete it.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for legal, operational, or regulatory reasons. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
